The Powerful Law of Gratitude: Part III - Where Should I Focus My Gratitude?

In the past two blogs, we covered various grounds in understanding the Power of Gratitude in our lives.

In Part I, we learned the powerful benefits of gratitude.

In Part II,  we discovered simple, yet powerful ways to practice gratitude on a daily basis. Morning, Noon and & Night.

In this blog, we will answer the question -

Ok, now that I know how to practice gratitude - where should I focus my gratitude?

Great question! The reason why I love Rhonda Byrne's book, "The Magic" is because she covers gratitude practices for each area of your life:

  • Relationships

  • Career

  • Health

  • Money

  • Your Desires

So by practicing gratitude through her 21 days gratitude journey - you will increase the "magic" in your life through gratitude.

So in short - the answer is to practice gratitude in EVERY AREA of your life. However, Rhonda Byrne suggests that if you feel you need to increase the joy in happiness in one particular area of your life is to shift your focus on gratitude to that part of your life.

If you are not feeling well or ill, focus on gratitude with your health & well being. If your arm is hurting, you can focus on being grateful that your legs feel great. You can hear. You can see. You can smell, etc.

If you feel you never have enough money, focus on gratitude on money and abundance, your job, your income, etc.

If you are struggling in your relationship, focus on gratitude on relationships that ARE going right.

The more you express and feel gratitude for any particular subject in your life, you will begin to attract more things to be grateful for in that area of your life.

You are probably wondering, how can I be grateful if I am ill? In a bad relationship? In debt?

Trust me, I get it!!!

Gratitude Is A Choice

That's right! So we have to make a conscious decision to be grateful DESPITE OUR CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES. There is always SOMETHING that you can focus on and be grateful for.

Rhonda says it best in her book, "The Magic"

"Gratitude is the cure for broken or difficult relationships, for lack of health or money and for unhappiness. Gratitude eliminates fear, worry, grief, and depression and brings happiness, clarity, patience, kindness, compassion, understanding, and peace of mind. Gratitude brings solutions to problems, and the opportunities and wherewithal to realize your dreams"

I trust that you have found value in this Gratitude Blog Series, and wishing you nothing but the best in area of your life.
