LT Turner Jr, Music Artist

​

LT Turner Jr is a Music Artist (Singer, Pianist, Arranger, Conductor, & Recording Artist) who loves bringing inspiration, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to others through his music. 

​

He was born March 30th, 1976 in Waterbury, CT. Growing up, music was a huge part of his life. In Elementary School, LT played the lead role Oliver of “Oliver Twist” and The Tin Man of “The Wizard of Oz” in his school musicals. He was involved in school chorus always desiring to learn and develop his musical talents. Along with singing and doing musicals, LT started out learning the flute. In 6th grade, he switched to learning piano and continued his involvement in the school's chorus and musical theater including playing one of the lead roles as Jacob in “The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”. High School only continued to add to his increasing love for music and the arts by performing in the school's musical theater department in “Pippin” (Player/Dancer) and “Once Upon A Mattress” (Page/Dancer). He also was part of the school's regular Chorus, Gospel Chorus and The Hallelujah Chorus (Classical).

 

Not only was LT involved in music during his schooling, he was also very active in his local community where he played "The Little Drummer Boy" in the local community theater during a Christmas Program. He was also very involved in his church, First Assembly of God in Waterbury, CT. At a young age, he was leading worship, directing the adult and youth choirs, and was a natural born leader. Additionally, at the age of 14, he directed his first Youth Musical Production, “Room 77” as director, choral/solo leader, and choreographer.

 

Because of his love for music and the arts, LT decided to continue his education at the University of Valley Forge in Valley Forge, PA. During his college career, he continued his leadership role in various activities within the college including, Executive Board Member of Student Government (the first freshman in the college's history to achieve this level of responsibility), Class Officer, Gospel Choir Director, Music Team Leader, Concert & College Choir Member, Member of CHOSEN (Traveling Music Group), Private Piano Instructor, to name a few. LT graduated in 1998 with a BS in Music.

 

After college, he continued on as a professional pianist, singer, and music/choral director ministering at various churches in the PA & NJ area. Beyond churches, LT has played/sang at numerous weddings, special functions, cocktail hours, orchestra's (including the summer musical productions at Lehman Methodist Church in Hatboro, PA) to name a few. In 2006/2007, LT dabbled in some Dance Lessons from Top Hat Dance Studio in Philadelphia, PA learning Ballet, Salsa, and Hustle. (and most recently in 2022 started back his Dance Journey at Top Hat Dance Studio with Ballet, Modern, Hustle, Ballroom, & Hip Hop). 

 

In 2015, LT completed recording his first music project  "Season's of Love" as a Recording Artist in Hollywood, CA.

 

On May 1st, 2016 LT released his debut single “Betcha by Golly Wow” which was the precursor to his first EP, “Season's of Love” (released on February 14th, 2019). He currently resides in Pennsylvania and is  currently single, but very intentful to meeting his lifetime partner.
