I was listening to a personal development recording on YouTube not long
ago from Earl Nightingale. In it, he was talking about as children
we have so many dreams and aspirations.
"I want to do ______ when I grow up!" (remember saying that?)
And even through our college days - we have so many dreams and aspirations!
It seems as we get older, our dreams just fall by the wayside and fade away.
Why is this? Dreams are meant to come true. No matter where
you are in your life - it's time to revive those dreams.
As long as you have breath - you have the opportunity to
start working towards those dreams and goals.
Remember the "Where's the Beef?" lady? She didn't start
her acting career until she was well in her 80's.
It's never too late!
I recall my dream to record. It was just a desire...a thought.
But what kept me from pursuing that dream initially was fear.
But I didn't let fear stop me. It only delayed me.
As, that very thought became fruition and it can for you too.
Bags Are Packed - Ready To Go!
Just liked that song by Peter, Paul & Mary, "Leaving on a Jet plane", all my bags were packed and I was ready to go and fulfill my dream in CA. One HUGE blessing was I had one of my besties, Delena come with me.
How many times do you get to have a friend with you as you are fulfilling your dream? I asked her if she'd like to come along "to keep me company" and without hesitation she said "YES".
She spent thousands of dollars just to accompany me on this trip to share in my dream between airfare, hotel, food, etc in CA.
Now that is TRUE friendship! She was with me every step of the way. And thanks to her other half, Rochelle for letting me borrow her for a week! :)

Emotional In the Studio
I remember when I was in the recording studio in Hollywood - Los Angeles, CA, I literally became emotional in the studio. My vocal coach, engineer and one of my best friends were there with me and I told them, "Give me a minute". It was so emotional and I am sure it will be for you when YOUR thought becomes FRUITION. I mean how many times does a dream actually takes shape right before your eyes?
Its a beautiful thing!

While working on my music project in Los Angeles, I was also interviewed on

It was quite the honor to be interviewed and share my project with the world. I met so many wonderful artists and people in the industry.

My Release Celebration
This was one of most special events of my entire lifetime thus far.
It was filled with emotion and love, because it was a thought that became fruition.
Another great friend of mine, Sheri was my cheerleader throughout the entire process and she volunteered to be my Release Celebration Coordinator. This event was so beautifully organized, I am still in tears every time I think of about it. She and I worked so well together. Such a blessing!
