But being a Music Artist (entrepreneur) and after taking an affiliate marketing course, I decided to put this post to help those who are looking for guidance on what tools are needed for an online business, regardless of the niche. I personally use these "tools" in my music and beyond and trust that you will find value and benefit from this post.....

Starting an online business can be a very exciting and rewarding experience. However, to run a successful business online , there are tools needed to help you build and run your business online. Before I get into the physical tools needed for an online business, there are three things that are highly essential and beneficial to your success:
#1 Mindset
Your mindset is key to being successful online (or for that matter in any area of your life). In fact, did you know that 95% of success is your mindset? Be sure to surround yourself with positive people, develop yourself personally, and maintain a “success” mindset.
Whether you listen to audios, watch videos or read books - always do something to develop your mindset. Below are some recommended books that will definitely do the trick!
# 2 Education & Training
This is definitely a must. If you don’t have a mentor or a training & education platform to learn the skills needed, then running a business online can be very difficult. The last “must” is a support system. There is no need to go at this alone. Be sure to surround yourself with support and other like-minded individuals. The second recommendation is an autoresponder. If you are not familiar with this, chances are you are part of one right now. Autoresponders are a great way to continually keep in contact with your leads. With autoresponders programs, you can also schedule messages out far in advance or set when you want the messages to go out. As an online business owner, you want the freedom and flexibility to do this.
If you are going on vacation next week, you can schedule any messages for next week – so you can go and enjoy your vacation without worrying about creating content. This is all done ahead of time.
Most autoresponder programs come with tracking ability built in so you can track who is opening your emails and who is actually clicking on any links you provided.
One last thing to note is that most capture/landing page builders have the ability to link to an external autoresponder, which is pretty awesome.
My personal recommendation for an autoresponder is Get Response. And it can easily be linked to any of your capture/landing pages in your funnel builder. Their email deliverability is TOP NOTCH! As you are building your business, it’s important to ensure all of your tools being utilized has an affiliate program. Why is this important? In time, others will ask you, “What are you using to do ______ in your business?” Wouldn’t it be more beneficial to send them a link that’s coded to you?
This way, it’s a win-win. The individual purchasing the tool you recommended for their business, and you received a commission for that recommendation.
Some tools are just a one-time fee, and some are monthly. Both can be very beneficial to you financially.
I love seeing examples, so let’s use an example.
